Colbie Caillat Will Perform at the Young Hollywood Awards, So Let's Catch Up with Her
To be honest, the last time I thought about Colbie Caillat was when her hit song "Bubbly" played on the radio every freakin' minute of every freakin' day in 2007. I think what happened was that I incurred an overload of "Bubbly" that made me take one big step away from the singer and any news that was related to her. (Kind of like when you eat so much of one thing that you feel sick to your stomach and you can't eat it for months.) So, basically, it wasn't her fault that I lost interest; it was the radio's fault for thinking it would be okay to play one song on repeat for eternity.
But thanks to the Young Hollywood Awards, Caillat will officially re-entering our lives by performing during the show. The thing is, what has she even been doing since her hit song came out? Let's explore the singer's life post-"Bubbly."
She won a Grammy with Jason Mraz.
Caillat, along with her beachy collaborator, took home a Grammy for “Lucky.” (You know, the song that Chord Overstreet sang on Glee .)
She also won a Grammy for Taylor Swift's album 'Fearless."
Caillat, along with other collaborators, took home the win for Album of the Year.
She was named the 94th best artist of the 2000-2009 decade.
The honor was bestowed upon her by Billboard Magazine. (She can probably thank “Bubbly” for that win.)
She was compared to Hilary Duff.
Or rather, Hilary Duff was compared to Caillat. Duff’s recent and much talked about song “Chasing the Sun,” was compared to a song that Caillat might sing.
She weirded people out with her Grammy dress.
It’s pretty, but also… so off-putting.

She made waves with her new music video for "Try."
In her new chill-inducing and empowering music video, Caillat goes make-up free and encourages other women to do the same.

She strutted down the runway during New York Fashion Week.
Caillat walked the runway in red for the 2014 Heart Truth Red Dress Collection Fashion Show.
She has spent her time saving animals.
From supporting ASPCA to saving elephants, Caillat is basically the next Sarah McLachlan.
