Kourtney & Scott Realy Don't Need This Right Now

by Kenya Foy

In news that sucks really bad, it looks like someone other than an accountant has been keeping up with the Kardashians' money. TMZ reports that a briefcase containing $4,000 cash went missing from Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's Hamptons, New York rental home. Unfortunately for the couple, this isn't the first time someone's lifted a large amount of cash from one of their homes. Back in February, $50,000 cash disappeared from their Calabasas residence, and within a matter of weeks, Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom's home was also burglarized, leading to speculation that the burglaries could be connected.

No one ever welcomes the opportunity to become the victim of theft, but this truly couldn't come at a worse time for Kardashian and Disick. Kardashian is a mother of two with another child on the way. Undoubtedly the thought of someone pilfering through her home, particularly when she's in such a vulnerable state, must be extremely upsetting and frightening, to say the least. Although Disick's dealt with his fair share of personal troubles, he's recently made great strides toward maintaining his sobriety and focusing more on spending time with his family. The last thing he needs is something like this.

Certainly, they shouldn't be blamed for the burglary. With their level of fame, in addition to the fact that they maintain multiple residences and film a reality show, it's probably a very difficult task to keep an eye on the comings and goings of everyone in their presence. Hopefully this incident will allow Kardashian and Disick to put some extreme measures in place in order to prevent something like this from happening again.

According to TMZ, Kardashian believes the thief to be "someone close to them," while other reports claim the police suspect a member of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians crew may have been tied to the robbery that took place at Khloé's former home. Either way, it's a shame that they're exposed to a relentless individual who obviously has no respect for the law.
