Usher's Ex Criticizes Singer on 'GMA'

by Kaitlin Reilly

Usher's ex-wife Tameka Foster spoke out on Good Morning America about the famous singer — and the role he plays as father to her two children, Usher V, 5, and Naviyd, 4. The Good Morning America special comes just days after the former couple's court hearing, during which Foster's petition to alter the arranged custody agreement in her favor was denied.

The custody drama comes on the heels of a scary incident: According to reports, Usher V nearly drowned in a pool while under Usher's care. (This incident brought up terrible memories for Foster, whose son Kile Glover died during a jet ski accident only a year ago.) Following Usher V's hospitalization, Foster claimed her ex wasn't paying the proper attention to his children and therefore should no longer be allowed custody.

Yet, it seemed that the courts disagreed, upholding Usher's full custody. When asked if Foster blamed Usher for the incident, she told GMA that while she didn't blame Usher, she was "angry that it happened on his watch." Though the custody battle remains heated, Foster insisted that she doesn't hate Usher, as he's the father of her children.

Still, it seems the drama between the couple will only continue, and, no doubt, in front of an all-too-rapt viewing audience.
