Miley Cyrus Reveals 'Bangerz' Album Cover

by Kate Ward

These are a big 24 hours for fans of Miley Cyrus. Not only is the singer performing at MTV's Video Music Awards (and possibly angering anyone on the N and Q train), but she's also taken to her Twitter to reveal the cover for her upcoming album, Bangerz.

It's the first taste we're getting of the star's upcoming album, which she's only promised will be "nothing but #BANGERZ." The term presumably is meant to describe catchy club hits, but us grandmas are too busy doing Tai Chi calmly in a park to really know for sure.

But the album cover for Bangerz certainly screams club music, with a neon sign and palm trees that seem straight out of South Beach. But, if things are so tropical, why is Cyrus — she of the promiscuous "We Can't Stop" — dressed from head to toe? But don't worry, Cyrus fans and creepy uncles across the nation — Cyrus seems to have some tricks up her sleeve, which include taking off her sleeves. As the pop star tweeted along with the album cover, "You know the vintage YSL don't stay on for long."

Cyrus' Bangerz hits shelves Oct. 8, a date we've already put aside to shop for more Werther's Originals.
