Domaine's Fashion Pumpkins are Everything

In case you haven't gotten the memo, carving jack-o'-lanterns was so 2000-and-late. It's all about decorating pumpkins, from dipping them in gold confetti to covering them in fall's crunchy red and orange leaves. But maybe you're looking for a project that really expresses your true passion for fashion or, at the very least, a project that gives your pumpkin real personality. The ultra creative team at Who What Wear's sister site Domaine Home transformed boring old pumpkins into fashion icons, including Karl Lagerfeld, Anna Wintour, Rachel Zoe, and the Olsen twins. And yes, it's as amazing and incredible and awe-worthy as it sounds.

Using craft-store essentials like construction paper, raffia, and acrylic paint and some Halloween candy, Domaine successfully achieved the "chicest front stoop fashion show ever." With some corn husks and Twizzlers, a sleepy white pumpkin turned into Vogue EIC Anna Wintour (who knew corn husks could create the perfect Wintour bob?!). To craft Karl Lagerfeld's icy white locks, they used some of those stringy, decorative spiderwebs and threw a big black bow on the end. Incroyable! For the Olsen twins' iconic pout, they used a pair of orange gummy slices. And perhaps my favorite of them all was their interpretation of Rachel Zoe whose long, blonde waves were re-created with curly plant sticks.
