'The Walking Dead' Cast In Real Life Is Looking Far Better Than Its Dusty TV Counterparts — PHOTOS

With this gross, chewy season of AMC's The Walking Dead now in full strides, it's easy to get sucked into the Walker World. Everything is sepia tones and blood and Appalachia. People are dying left and right — or so we think. Let's do a reverse Halloween and remember what all of our favorite Survivors, er, The Walking Dead cast, look like in real life. What do these folks look like when they're not in the wild?

Rick Grimes

At Terminus, our hero was looking “grimier” (sorry not sorry) than usual.

Andrew Lincoln

Out and about, Andrew Lincoln is a dapper gentleman. I barely remember that his character in Love Actually stalked Kiera Knightley — nope, I do remember.

Steven Yeun

Get away from me with that smolder, dude! It’s too much.

Carol Peletier

Quick to save her friends, Carol covered herself in guts and got creative at Terminus.

Melissa McBride

In our world, McBride looks like everyone’s cool Aunt. She probably gives really good gifts, don’t you think?

Maggie Greene

She’s come a long way to be that comfortable with a gun. It suits her.

Lauren Cohan

Honestly, I don’t think she looks all that different. Lauren Cohan is definitely more cheerful.

Michonne

Fans cheered when her character appeared a few seasons ago, and it’s easy to imagine why. This katana-wielding lady makes quite the impression.

Danai Gurira

Without her badass locks, this actress is probably the least recognizable off-screen. You’d have no idea that pink was really Michonne’s color.

Carl Grimes

It’s taken a few seasons, but I’m finally not worried about Carl. Remember when he used to run off every episode? He seems to have learned his lesson.

Chandler Riggs

He’s just a regular kid who plays video games at Comic-Con! Phew.

Daryl Dixon

Rarely without his crossbow (tip of the hat to Carol for retrieving it on her Terminus tour de force), Daryl is rugged personified.

Norman Reedus

The actor, on the other hand, gets out in the world on the regular. Here he is at a basketball game, with Judd Hirsch and Jimmy Smitts? Okay…

Sasha

On the show, Tyreese’s sister is bossy and graceful.

Sonequa Martin-Green

In real life? She’s absolutely stunning. The actress is also expecting her first child.

Tyreese

I’m thankful for Tyreese’s hat. It’s important, even during the apocalypse, to have an iconic look.

Chad L. Coleman

Here he is (with a bonus second look at Martin-Green and a different ‘do) at a iHeart Radio event, looking relatively the same but much less conflicted.

Beth Greene

We still don’t know where Beth is, but I’m pumped about the Carol and Daryl road trip to rescue her.

Emily Kinney

Beth is usually pretty good with a post-apocalyptic hairstyle in a pinch, but nothing beats Kinney’s red carpet resources.

Bob Stookey

Convenient how the Terminus people placed all of the main characters at the end of the slaughter line, wasn’t it? Unfortunately, Bob wasn’t able to escape Gareth in the second episode. Can we stop talking about that, please?

Lawrence Gilliard Jr.

No worries, guys! He’s standing on two legs IRL.

Tara Chambler

Usually quiet, Tara made a big confession to Maggie and is looking to redeem herself.

Alanna Masterson

Still stoic, but she cleans up nice!

Rosita Espinosa

You gotta love a girl who’s not afraid to take out zombies while rocking pigtails.

Christian Serratos

Once she takes off the baseball cap and shakes out her hair, this actress can be quite glamorous — and blonde!

Eugene Porter

He’s humanity’s alleged last hope, if you can believe it. Maybe the secret to curing the walker virus is hidden in Eugene’s hair, Regina George-style.

Image: Gene Page/AMC

Josh McDermitt

Oh hello. Josh McDermitt looks more like he’s arriving for the premiere of Mad Men with that snappy outfit. Is that shirt patterned with foxes?

Abraham Ford

He may have made an inspiring speech but I’m still suspicious of his motives. I don’t think Rick can trust him.

Michael Cudlitz

Abe smash! He looks more like The Hulk (not talking about Hogan — or am I?) with all this green lighting.

Gareth

Is he a Hunter? Is he a Savior? We don’t know. I just want to stay away from this creep and politely decline his BBQ invites.

Andrew J. West

This guy wouldn’t hurt a fly!
