Jack & Lisa Osbourne Lose Second Pregnancy

Sad news: Jack Osbourne and his wife, Lisa, have lost their second pregnancy, Lisa revealed on her blog Raddest Mom on Thursday. She was in her second trimester. "I have been dreading this announcement," the blog post began. "I needed some time before being able to say it."

The miscarriage, "the hardest thing" the couple "have ever had to go through," comes just a month after they shared news of the pregnancy with the public and spoke of their excitement over expanding their family. The Osbournes have a daughter, Pearl, 16 months.

"It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments," Lisa wrote. "We never know why things like this happen. All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives."

Two days ago, the couple revealed much happier news, when it was announced that Jack would be a contestant on the upcoming 17th season of Dancing With the Stars.

After revealing Thursday's heartbreaking disclosure, Lisa took to Twitter, saying that she was "cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby & shutting my eyes."

She continued, "Thank you all for the love & support. It means the world."
