Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi & Fashion Are a Match Made In Outrageous Style Heaven, Just Not 'Project Runway' Heaven
Many images come to mind when you think of Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and "Style icon" usually isn't one of them, but maybe it should be. Snooki will be serving as guest judge along with her gal pal and fellow Jersey Shore alum Jenni "JWoww" Farley on the upcoming Nov. 6 episode of Project Runway All Stars . That must count for something.
And when you really think about it, why wouldn't she be a decent guest judge for the Lifetime fashion competition? Plenty of celebrities have been in that spot before her, and do they really know any more about fashion? They have stylists pick out their own wardrobes half the time anyway.
Snooki even has her own clothing line that includes cutout leggings, funky aviator sunglasses, and those infamous Snooki slippers. Don't worry. I'm sure we'll hear all about it on Project Runway All Stars.
I kinda sorta guess the only reason that would make some people confused about Snooki's status as a Project Runway All Stars guest judge is that she tends to wear outfits that are, shall we say, uber tacky. But it's cool, guys. At least she has a signature style, even if it hasn't always been the best looking. Let's revisit some of those crazy get-ups.

The pouf that started it all
Laugh at Snooki all you want, but you can’t deny that the look she had when Jersey Shore first began in 2009 — big pouf, orange tan, hoop earrings — remains iconic to this day. How many people in this world can say that?

Snooki wore these gigantic, imitation sneakers slippers while she was in the Jersey Shore house. They looked pretty comical on a lady with such a small stature, but Snooki owned it. It was the arrest seen ‘round the world. While filming Jersey Shore in 2010, Snooki was detained in Seaside Heights, N.J. for disorderly conduct, and that’s what she was wearing. But to be fair, no one looks good when they’re arrested, or drunk for that matter. And remember, Snooki is “a good person.”

I’m genuinely impressed that Snooki can see through those seemingly opaque shades. Kudos.
Pouf... It's gone!
It’s not Snooki’s outfit that is shocking in this photo; it’s her hair. Snooki got rid of her signature pouf hairstyle in 2010 in favor of some bangs. Change can really do a person good sometimes.

I think Snooki had a little too much “T” in this photo and not enough “L,” if you know what I mean.

Snooki looks like she’s dressed in the style of her birth year, 1987. Though it’s a bit costume-y, I actually think Snooki’s confidence in this photo helps her pull off this look quite well.

As Snooki said goodbye to her former partying ways, she embraced a more toned-down, sophisticated style. However, she usually includes at least one flashy accessory, because Snooki.

What’s crazy about this photo is that you barely notice Snooki in it at all with her son Lorenzo stealing the spotlight in his Mickey Mouse costume at Disney World. I see his a reality show in his future.
