There's A Goop Pop-Up Shop Opening in Dallas

by Alexa Tucker

If you live in Dallas, here's a store that might be worth stopping by on your holiday shopping adventures, even if just for sheer entertainment value. Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle blog turned e-commerce site is opening a pop up shop in the Texas city from November 17 through December 14. The store will carry exclusive pieces from brands like Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein Home, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, Claire Vivier, and RMS Beauty, plus a brand-new capsule collection, Monique Lhuillier x goop.

As an aspirational Monique Lhuillier devotee, I have to admit, I'm excited to see this. “Monique Lhuillier x goop is the answer to easy, chic holiday and cocktail dressing,” Lhuillier said in the press release. “The collection is all about our modern take on day to evening looks, focusing on separates and pops of color to make the perfect statement." We don't have any more deets on the pieces yet, but I'll be keeping my eye out for a sneak peek. The line will also be sold in-store from both ML by Monique Lhuillier and Collection, as well as on goop.com, of course.

The Highland Park Village store, which was designed by Dallas-based international interior designer Michelle Nussbaumer, will be entirely shoppable too, meaning every piece of decor and furniture will be up for sale as well. If I lived in Dallas, I think I'd go half to see the merch itself, and half to see crazed G. Pal devotees clamoring for the perfect holiday cocktail dress to show up their snooty frenemy at the annual Christmas fête. Big hair, don't care? (Disclaimer: I have never actually been to Texas, but this is how I picture a large number of the pop up shop's clientele.) If you do get a chance to stop in, 'gram it with the hashtag #gooppop — I look forward to living vicariously through you.
