Poppy Delevingne Makes A Splash With Swimwear

by Jamie Cuccinelli

Don't have a winter getaway planned yet? Well if Poppy Delevingne's new swimwear collection isn't reason enough to book your plane ticket to spend Christmas in the Bahamas, I don't know what is. The model and British socialite has just partnered with luxe swimwear designer Isaac Ross, of the label Solid and Striped, to create her own vacation-wear that reflects, as Ross puts it, "Poppy's lifestyle" in all of it's bright, pink, carefree glory.

Hitting Net-A-Porter.com today with a splash, the suits come in maillot, bandeau, and bikini styles, but no matter the cut, all of them offer a clean Hamptons aesthetic but with a youthful touch of whimsey. "We wanted to do a collection that was vibrant, fun, and kooky, a little how I like to be while I'm on holiday preferably with a piña colada in hand," explains Delevingne. With its playful pops of pink and blue and scatterings of a fun flamingo print, the collection manages to be all that and more.

Where's Poppy wearing her new chic bikinis? "Well, I’ll be heading out to Art Basel in Miami, so I’ll be wearing the bikini there. I’m also going to Colombia over New Year’s with some friends," she says. Cool. I'll be wearing mine holed up in my freezing apartment, pretending I'm at the beach. It's totally the same right??!
