K. Midd Shows Off Bump In Another Stylish Ensemble

by Alexa Tucker

Okay, so maybe every time Kate Middleton steps out it feels like news to me. She's one of my favorite people on the planet (and I haven't even met her), so she could probably show up somewhere in a of pair ripped jeans and an old university hoodie and I'd still think she looked incredibly classy and chic. My love for her outfits is elevated, though, when she wears something that you can see her growing baby bump in. The Duchess hosted an awards ceremony for Place2Be, a children's mental health charity, at her Kensington Palace home tonight, and, of course, looked fantastic.

This evening's ensemble included a belted black peplum shirt with sheer, polka-dotted sleeves and a teal Jenny Packham skirt. And, big surprise, the Hobbs top is already sold out. I'll admit, I could have done without the belt — this isn't my favorite of Middleton's maternity looks, but I'll take it. I still think it's still very stylish, and very Kate.

The prospect of baby No. 2 is sort of thrilling to me (a sibling for Prince George, hooray!), so anytime I see Kate rest her perfectly manicured hand on her belly, I squeal a little inside. Plus, Kate may go down as one of the best maternity dressers ever, so Princess Alexandra (that's my full name — a girl can dream) is always covered by something stylish and feminine. Although I'm so excited for the world to meet the newest member of the royal family, here's to five more months of fabulous maternity outfits!
