Angelina Sends Brad & Kids to 'Unbroken' Premiere

by Alyse Whitney

When Angelina Jolie has the chickenpox, she does what any person would do: make her family do things for her. But instead of fetching chicken noodle soup and getting her medicine, her husband, Brad Pitt, and their kids went to the Unbroken premiere on her behalf. Although the whole family wasn't there on Monday night — just their sons Pax and Maddox and their daughter Shiloh — everyone was all smiles on the red carpet as they filled in for Jolie. Pitt's parents, Jane and William, even tagged along, also showing their support for Jolie's World War II drama.

"Her spirits are high," Pitt told E! News' Marc Malkin on the red carpet. "A little spotted and a little itchy, but her spirits are high." After Jolie was diagnosed last Friday, she took to YouTube to explain the disappointing situation. "I will be home itching and missing everyone, and I can't believe it, because this film means so much to me," she explained, sending her love — and apparently her family — to everyone during the film's press tour.

As we lead up to the movie's Christmas Day release, it will be interesting to see who else fills Jolie's shoes. Her other kids? Famous friends? If George and Amal Clooney show up next, we'll know who was behind it.
