14 Huge 'Friends' Moments We All Couldn't Wait For

The new year is almost here, which means some exciting things are coming our way, like every Friends episode streaming on Netflix! Could that be any more thrilling? Yes, I know some of you (like myself) own every episode on DVD and others (like myself) watch reruns on TV, because Friends is syndicated on A LOT of channels, but having access to these six friends at your fingertips just makes it that much more special.

This exciting time has many fans counting down the days until they can watch Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey via their computer. FYI, as of today, Thursday, there are only 14 days until Friends launches on Netflix. That's only two weeks! In the words of Chandler, Wah-pah!

To accompany this countdown, I thought it'd be fun to chat about the times we created our own countdowns for some of the biggest moments that occurred on the NBC comedy. If you're telling me you never counted the weeks, the days, the hours, the minutes, or even the seconds to when Ross and Rachel would finally get together, then I don't believe you — or maybe you just weren't as a spirited Friends watcher as I was and still am.

With that said, here are several huge moments we just couldn't wait to happen resulting in our very own countdowns.

"He's her lobster!"

Who didn't count down the moments until Ross and Rachel finally got together the first time? After all, he's her lobster!

"I got off the plane."

Just get off the plane, Rachel! Thank goodness she did, so we could stop worrying if Ross and Rachel would finally be together for the last and final time.

"They don't know that we know they know we know."

The secret relationship of Monica and Chandler was fantastic, but the episode where everyone finds out (minus Ross) is pure comedy gold.

"I'm getting married today!"

Does Monica and Chandler's wedding really need an explanation? I didn't think so.

"Baby Girl Geller Green"

Not only was it exciting when Rachel got pregnant, but it was also a thrilling moment when she gave birth to Emma.

"I guess they weren't as good friends as we are."

Ugh. Rachel and Joey. This relationship should have never happened. The episode these two called it quits was one glorious day.

"I, Ross, take thee Rachel."

Now, I'm not saying we all looked forward to Ross and Emily's wedding because we wanted them to get married, but we did wish for that day because we knew Rachel was going to try and stop it. Thankfully, Ross took care of that all on his own.

"I'm having my brother's babies."

Phoebe giving birth to the triplets was one moment that I dare you not to cry at, especially when she holds all three at the end and cries. Way to tug at my heartstrings!

"You make me happier than I ever thought I could be."

Chandler and Monica's proposal was a mess, but in the end it worked out and was one beautiful moment. Oh how I love these two.

"I've been looking for this for like a month."

After learning about Rachel's pregnancy, we all wondered just who got her pregnant?! The episode with the red sweater cleared that right up for us. Seriously, how can more than one person own that ugly sweater?

"I love Mike... David! David. I love David."

Near the end of the series we all knew Phoebe would either end up with Mike or David. I have nothing against David, but I'm glad she chose Mike. They just fit together perfectly.

"I wasn't supposed to put beef in the trifle!"

Friends is known for its Thanksgiving episodes. I don't know about you, but I loved watching these holiday-filled episodes every year.

"I'll be my something blue."

Like Chandler and Monica, Phoebe and Mike's wedding was one for the books.

"Do you realize at one time or another we all lived in this apartment?"

Oh you dreaded last episode. This wasn't a happy count down, but it was one we all did, begrudingly.
