Scott Disick's Having Trouble Letting Go

It's hard to believe 2014 is ending, but for Scott Disick, it's probably a relief. It's no secret it's been really rough year for Scott, as he lost both of his parents in a three-month time period. All the ups and downs have been featured on national television for the world to see, which I imagine adds insult to injury. It's definitely about time that Scott gets a fresh start, but first? He's gotta deal with some stuff that isn't fun for anybody to go through. On this week's episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons , Kourtney's bugging him to make decisions about his parents' house in Eastport, N.Y., and Scott doesn't even want to think about it.

And actually, it turns into a bit of an argument. Before they leave the Hamptons, Kourtney wants Scott to clean out his parents' house and then decide whether he wants to keep it or sell it, and Scott doesn't want to be pushed into anything he's not ready for. Can you blame him, though? Like Scott says, 30 is really early to have to start thinking about this kind of stuff, and it isn't going to be pleasant. It's going to suck. Here's a preview of the couple's argument over the emotional subject.

So what's the deal? Did Scott ever decide to sell? I can find absolutely no evidence that Bonnie and Jeffrey Disick's Hamptons house has ever entered the real estate market, so it looks like it would still belong to Scott. And if that's the truth, maybe he and Kourtney should consider keeping it. Now that their family has officially grown to five, maybe Scott can make new, happy memories in the house he grew up in. The Hamptons is obviously a beautiful vacation destination, and Mason and Penelope seemed to love being there. Maybe if Scott decided not to sell, he could keep that part of his parents' and help it live on?

If he does want to sell it and is waiting for a time when their death isn't so fresh in his mind, or already has and is keeping it private, I can't blame him either. I can't imagine what losing both of your parents in such a short time frame would be like — and since he's an only child, it's not like he has siblings to lean on.

My fingers are crossed that 2015 is a way better year for Scott and his family. After all, what's a better way to start over than with a brand new baby?
