Amal Might Be Adding Cover Girl to Her Resume

by Sienna Fantozzi

After putting Kim Kardashian on the cover of one of the most influential fashion magazines in the world, Anna Wintour might need to do some seriously tasteful damage control. I kid, I kid. But in all seriousness, classing it up a bit on occassion isn't a bad idea, and that just might be what's on the agenda, given that Amal Clooney is Vogue's rumored new cover girl. And right now, nothing says class quite like Amal.

Amal became America's version of royalty when she married George Clooney this year, and apparently, Anna Wintour is equally as fascinated. Grazia Daily reported that Wintour is interested in Amal, a human rights lawyer, because she reflects “what’s going on in the culture” and is “deeply tasteful.” And though I questioned Vogue's editor-in-chief's judgment of recent, this one I can get on board with. Amal is professional, sophisticated, and has a career that has nothing to do with fashion or entertainment, yet still wears impeccable clothing. So that's an interesting twist. Nothing has been confirmed, so we'll have to keep waiting for an official comment, but I do have one, tiny request. Please, Amal, let's leave the Opera gloves at home, k?
