20 Snow Quotes To Pump You Up About This Blizzard

If I could say one thing to the Blizzard of 2015 hurtling its way toward the Northeast, it would be this: GTFO. Which is maybe not the most eloquent way to phrase my feelings toward the monster storm/impending doom headed our way, but that's why I've also rounded up a few clever snow quotes that do a much better job of summing up all the feelings flurries of snowflakes tend to evoke. Because guys? Apparently there are people in this world — people in this world who have gone on to do incredible things, write inspiring pieces of literature, and contribute to humanity in ways I can only hope to one day emulate — who don't think the snow is such a terrible thing. Seth Rogen, for instance, a man whose offbeat, bumbling comedy I've come to admire, has even said (and I quote), "I love cold weather," which at first I thought had to be one of his zany jokes, but now I see he's actually in surprisingly good company.

So in between stocking up on pizza bagels and wine and making sure I have enough stuff in my Netflix queue to last me for days should this blizzard decide to stick around, I'm also doing a little mental storm prep as well — by reading up on all that the greats have had to say about this natural wonder we call snow. Apparently, it's not so bad.
