American Hustle already looked like a pretty great movie before these posters appeared on my radar, but now I'm certain: American Hustle is going to be great. How do I know this? These new promotional posters featuring the cast, in particular Bradley Cooper, with the best terrible '70s hair ever.
I know the hair (and clothes, for that matter) isn't actually the point of these posters, but still — I can't ignore what greatness is literally right in front of me. I mean, for starters, just look at Bradley Cooper's hair! This is even better than those pictures of him on set wearing curlers, and I legitimately did not think any picture of Bradley Cooper could go above that, ever.
And Christian Bale! Batman, what has become of you? Bruce Wayne would be so disappointed. Jeremy Renner — god, I can't even look at him right now. He looks like a greasy car salesman from the San Fernando Valley of the '70s who watches a lot of weird porn that he recorded on VHS tapes over old episodes of M*A*S*H or something. In other words, not a good look, but kind of perfect for this movie.
Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence, on the other hand, look perfect, as always.
