Dior's Fall Show Is Giving Us Major Hair Goals

by Emily Kirkpatrick

Raf Simons is perennially at the forefront of what women want to wear. Even at his weirdest and edgiest, the designer has an uncanny knack for creating what you didn't even know you absolutely needed. For example, I wouldn't consider myself a big fetish-wear enthusiast, but I've been dreaming about those thigh-high latex boots with lucite heels from his Dior Couture show ever since I saw them early last month. Well, now, I have something all new to lust over thanks to Dior's genius team of total beauty wizards. For his sixties inspired Fall 2015 Dior collection, Simons debuted waist-length ponytails that were simple, but majorly stunning.

The models had their hair styled in low-slung, sleek side ponytails and then lengthened with thick, glossy hair extensions that just skimmed the waistline. This isn't the first time the designer's played with hair length either, giving us some retrofuturistic beauty inspo. For his Spring 2015 Couture show Simons lengthened his sexy sixties high pony by adding plastic chain links into the mix with hair extensions attached!

Dior's Fall ready-to-wear iteration, however, is a much more attainable look. The thick, waist-length ponies feel more like Ariana Grande on her day off than Kimmy Gibbler headed off to school. And the best part about Dior's new 'do? Unlike their super pricey garb, this is a look you can actually afford to replicate!

Pretty stunning, right?
