Her Latest Look Shocked Us, But Not How You Think

The Aussie's beauty M.O. may be vampy lipstick and dark eyes, but Lorde's blue eyeliner at Paris Fashion Week had me positively swooning over her girly new look. As much as I love a burgundy lip (especially on the "Royals" songstress,) I'm kind of obsessed with the sweet, feminine makeup she wore to the Chloé show this weekend, not to mention her lovely, sleek curls. Seriously, though — is this really Lorde?

The subtle blue eyeliner does an amazing job of bringing out her blue-green eyes. If you're looking to recreate, which I definitely am, it looks like you'd tightline your top lids with black, then add a line of teal overtop. Add some subtle white or silver eyeshadow, focusing it at the inner corners for an illuminating effect. Top the look off with a subtle, sophisticated pink lip (Lorde's looks like it was actually made for her coloring. Where can I get that done?)

Lorde's makeup artist shared a snap of the products she used on Instagram, too, giving us an extra peek at the look. In any case, even though I love the goth-chic beauty looks that Lorde usually looks, I'd love to see her sporting softer, more romantic looks like this more often. She's got great features to show off — I mean, those cheekbones!
