The Sperry x Gray Malin Collab Came From A Photo

Gray Malin’s Instas are always either colorful, filled with laidback nautical vibes or both. And that’s what makes his photos the perfect images to print on a fresh new pair of Sperrys. Yeah, you read that right — Sperry is releasing its Malin collaboration next week. Get psyched.

Whenever Malin’s feet get a chance to sneak into his photos, they’re always in a pair of Sperrys. For this collection, there are three print patterns taken from Lisbon, Cape Town and Cefalù that will be featured on four different Sperry kicks. Malin’s inspiration came from when he was flying from a helicopter and took a shot of his Sperrys dangling above a beach in Lisbon. The beautiful birds-eye beach print was put on a pair of woman’s seacoast sneakers, as well as on the iconic 2-eye boat shoe (which, btw, I’ve got my “2-eyes” on *wink*). The other two shoes are a slip-on with Cape Town's gnarly waves and a classic lace-up with a black and white print of a Cefalù beach.
