Kerry Was A Glowing Goddess At The GLAAD Awards

by Sienna Fantozzi

It's officially spring, but before we dig out the pastels, let's admire those winter berry tones one more time. Kerry Washington attended the GLAAD Awards on Saturday night, and wore a jewel-toned dress that made her look like even more of a gem than she already is.

At the 26th annual award show, held in Beverly Hills, Washington accepted the Vanguard Award for her promotion of equality, and I think everyone can agree that her speech was both inspirational and powerful. But now we have to talk about her fashion, because she looked immaculate. The Scandal star wore a two-toned Hellessy gown in shades of berry, with a scarlet bodice and deep plum skirt. Sleeveless with a (very) plunging neckline, the floor-length gown was almost as ethereally stunning as Kerry herself. With her hair in soft curls and a deep pink lip, the 38-year-old practically glowed, proving, once again, that she's a total goddess. Though she didn't need to dress the part for that, because her speech pretty much said it all.

"We can’t say that we believe in each other’s fundamental humanity and then turn a blind eye to the reality of each other’s existence and the truth of each other’s hearts," she said. Kerry, you are flawless.
