Could 'Friends' Have A Reunion Without Ross?

It's a good time for '90s sitcom reunions. There's a Full House spinoff in the works, and Shawn Hunter coming to Girl Meets World — it's every '90s kids' dream! But not every cast wants to get back together and reminisce about old times — onscreen or off: Case-in-point, one of the most iconic sitcoms of the past 20 years doesn't seem to be any closer to a reunion, and we can all blame one of its stars. According Courteney Cox in an interview with Yahoo!, it's her television brother David Schwimmer who's apparently holding up a Friends reunion. According to Cox's new interview, the six main cast members on Friends haven't been in the same room together since the series ended in 2004. She said, "[The cast] has gotten about 80 percent there, but there’s always one person who flakes at the end... I don't want to name names but it may... be Schwimmer."

Oh, Schwimmer — how dare you ruin our dreams of a Friends reunion by allegedly flaking out on your co-stars? Despite Cox telling fans of the sitcom to "let go" of their hopes for a Friends reunion special, I'm not giving up — I mean, who says a reunion can't happen without Schwimmer? As sad as I would be for Ross to be MIA, here's how a Friends reunion could work without Ross if it absolutely had to:

Send Ross On An Archeological Dig

Two years digging for fossils in Africa would certainly keep him separated from his friends, and it would make sense for his character.

Have Him Go On Tour With His "Sound"

There is worse music out there.

Make Him Spend Quality Time With Ben

It was so rare on the show, and the guy needs to make up for lost time.

Have Him Guest Lecture At Another University, Out Of Town

Perhaps not with a fake English accent this time?

Make Him Have (Another) Unfortunate Spray-Tanning Accident

To be fair to Ross, they didn't specify whether the seconds were counted in Mississippi time.

Make Him Get Stuck In Leather Pants. Again.

Well, he's not going to leave the house like that.

Have The Other Friends Murder Him For Saying "We Were On A Break!"

You know it crossed Phoebe's mind.
