This Movember, Nick Offerman Leads A Band Of Celebrities Rocking The 'Stache For Charity

A good moustache is truly hard to come by. Unless it's November, at which point there will be no shortage of facial hair in your life. Nick Offerman, or Ron Swanson of NBC's Parks and Rec, has teamed up with Movember and their partner Made Man again this year to reprise his role as an official ambassador to the global charity. Which, in case you've been living under a rock for the past nine years, encourages men to grow their 'staches proudly for the 30-days of November to raise funds and awareness to help combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.

Nick's role as ambassador is to inspire the men in our lives (and some women) to grow their moustaches, by way of his own epic facial hair. And to also star in instructional and inspirational videos on "Great Moments In Moustache History", "How To Grow A Moustache", and "Your Mo Will Get Fuller" for those feeling discouraged about their feeble 'staches.

Since its launch in 2004, alongside legions of businessmen and frat boys eager to impress and toss their razors in the trash for 30 days, celebrities have offered up their upper lip in the name of charity both to comical and impressive results. Which celebrity mustaches were most notable? Click on to see seven impressive star 'staches.

Rainn Wilson (2013)

The former The Office star posted this photo to his Instagram account on Nov. 3. Clearly he got a head start on the month's endeavor. Beards beat Battlestar Galactica.

Ricky Gervais (2012)

Extras star Gervais showcased his, well, extra hair growth on Twitter during last year's fundraising effort.

Damien Lewis (2012)

Two weeks into the Homeland star's 'stache-growing adventure. Unfortunately for him, the hair-raising moustache is just as creepy as Brody's bald look.

Tom Hanks (2012)

Tom Hanks' impressive 'stache in 2012 was distinguished and gentlemanly. And Disney-approved.

Kevin Connolly (2011)

The Entourage star's impressive moustache raised over $17,000 in 2011. That's enough money to make him worthy of a hug (it out).

Brody Jenner (2011)

The reality star, whose famous everyday scruff spawns epic facial hair envy in the hearts of men, had a serious 'stache going for Movember 2011. Even LC would approve.

Mark Foster (2011)

The Foster the People's frontman raised money for his 'stache under the aptly name group "Foster the Moustache". Thumbs up for some great facial hair and an excellent pun.
