Emilia Clarke Stuns On The Cover Of Bazaar

by Melanie Richtman

You might not recognize her without her waist-length platinum blonde, immaculately braided hair, but Emilia Clarke, who plays Khaleesi on Game of Thrones, is every bit as stunning with her natural brown hair. Emilia Clarke covers the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar in a seriously stylish red, feathered number by Alexander McQueen.

In the feature, Clarke talks about the epic Game of Thrones wig room, how she has a huge crush on Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum and how she was obsessed with fashion and playing dress up as a child. Clarke admits to being particularly infatuated with Chanel, since her mom wore bright red Chanel lipstick and her grandmother channeled Coco in everything she did.

"When I was 11 or 12 or something, people would say, 'Do you promise? Cross your heart, hope to die?' I would be like, 'I swear on Chanel,' " she explains to Harper's Bazaar. "Everyone was like, 'Oh, shit, she means it.'"

However, Clarke doesn't describe herself as a fashionista, but rather just someone who likes to "jazz it up," but feeling rather out of place at fashion parties. But based on her fabulous Harper's Bazaar cover, we are willing to bet that Clarke looks right at home with the fashionable elite, especially if she's wearing Alexander McQueen.
