Their Halloween Costume Was the Best

We've known Kristen Bell is our Khaleesi for some time now — pretty much since the pilot of Veronica Mars first aired. That's only increased as the years have gone on, and now that Bell and Dax Shepard couple's Halloween costume is literally them as Danaerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo we have no choice but to bow down to the Khal and Khaleesi of Hollywood.

Bell mentioned in a chat with The Huffington Post late last month that she and new husband Dax Shepard would probably be dressing up as Game of Thrones' favorite Season 1 royal couple. She also mentioned that their baby daughter Lincoln and their two dogs would be playing the part of Danaerys Targaryen's dragons, and we swooned a little from the adorableness of it all.

Now that Halloween has come and gone (only 360 days until next Halloween!), we actually get a glimpse at Bell and Shepard in all their Dothraki glory. Meaning, they succeeded in dressing in the Halloween costume we all wish we could don. This couple: Just like us!

As if we needed more evidence that Bell and Shepard are relatable, the actress also recently discussed early motherhood, pointing out something that many women feel (but is rarely discussed amongst celebrities). Bell said she didn't feel a strong connection to Lincoln during her pregnancy:

"I love people the more I know them, and I didn't know her. It could've been a water bottle in my belly, that's about how connected I felt to her during my pregnancy," she shares. "But within about 24 hours after she came out, my hormones reset, and they reprogrammed my feelings about her."

Who doesn't respect that sort of honesty?

Of course, there is something upsetting about all of this: Sadly, we did not get to see the dragons in their Halloween glory, as Bell and Shepard are very loving parents and are on a very noble quest to keep their daughter from the public eye until she can decide for herself if she wants to lead a public life. Because they're really cool people, you guys!
