Charlize Theron's Sunshine Look at Cannes

Well, hot damn — Charlize Theron just slayed me and my life on the red carpet (again). At the Mad Max premiere in Cannes, Charlie Theron wore a bright yellow dress that certainly brought the glamour we crave from the film festival. Walking arm and arm with partner Sean Penn, she definitely stood out as the one to watch, long train included.

Charlize isn't a new gal to Dior. We've seen her grace our TV screens in the j'adore Dior commercials, clad in an incredible gold gown with a deep-V and a gold beaded necklace. It seems as if the yellow and gold family suits this woman well, as her Dior gown for Cannes is literally jaw-dropping. I mean, who else could pull of the Big Bird color other than Charlize?

The strapless dress had a very regal feel to it, with pointed ends on each side of the bodice, drawing our eyes up to face and hair. And as for jewelry, Theron rocked large, elegant earrings and a few rings on her pointer and ring fingers. With such a statement dress, her simple jewelry completed the look that had a sense of understated sexiness. And all I can say is wow.

As for her makeup, celeb artist Pati Dubroff hooked Theron up with a natural, soft look, with a peachy nude lip. Less was truly more with Charlize's look. To top it all off, Theron kept her hair in a low bun, with a dramatic curled bang, à la old Hollywood glamour. With such a bold choice of color, Theron pulled it off, making this my favorite look of the night. As Queen Bey would say, bow down b*tches.
