With a final score of 5-2, the American team sealed a third World Cup victory and shut down Japan's quest to be the second country in history to achieve a second consecutive win. And if it felt to you like the entire world was glued to their seats on Sunday night to watch the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team beat Japan in the 2015 FIFA World Cup, it's because the whole world was indeed watching.
