His Instagram is seriously killer and will have you laughing out loud when you're at the office or in class scrolling through Insta when you shouldn't be. Now, Josh Ostrovsky, better known as The Fat Jewish, has signed a modeling contract, and he's coming for your Balmain ads Kendall and Kylie! I mean, probably not, but he is coming for a potential television series, book deal, and wine label. The Hollywood Reporter sat down with Ostrovsky to talk about his future plans, which include hot pockets and maybe porn? Just hopefully not together.
Like supermodels before him, Ostrovsky was discovered while in his bathing suit - actually in his speedo. Or, at least that's what he says. Throughout his interview, it was obvious that maybe the Instagram star wasn't exactly being honest. Of discovery by One Management Agency, the burgeoning male model says, "I was laying on a towel in a parking spot in Soho — I put money in the meter so it was mine to do whatever I wanted with — and was tanning in a used Versace speedo that I bought on eBay, and got spotted. It all happened so fast, it was truly a blessing."
Whether he's telling the truth of not, the real facts are that Ostrovsky has some exciting things ahead of him now that he's hit the big time. Including maybe a potential stint as a porn star? He says, "Definitely. In fact I am doing a bunch of pornographic movies starting later this summer, but only in nonsexual acting roles. Like I bring my friend over to my house and my hot mom is there, but then realize that I forgot to get something at the store so I go out, and when I come back my friend is having sex with my mom and I'm furious about it." Again, please take this with a grain of salt, but Ostrovsky's answers really do just show you why he was signed and why he's definitely— no jokes about this one— got a book that's landing on October that we can't wait to read!
With his tv deals in the works, upcoming book, and abso-freaking-lutely hilarious Instagram, Ostrovsky isn't far away from being a new member of Hollywood's funniest elite. In fact, he's already got plans for it. He says, "I hope to get uncomfortably famous, develop a raging drug problem, then spiral out of control and surround myself with people who only want to use me while simultaneously alienating people who actually love and care about me!" While we hope this isn't going to be the case, we do hope Hollywood accepts Ostrovsky with open arms because we already love him!
