We Know What Ariana Grande's Perfume Smells Like

by Julia Guerra

The official website for Ariana Grande's signature fragrance launched Friday morning, and the case of the mystery scent has been closed: The Ari by Ariana Grande fragrance smells like marshmallows. Now you, too, can smell like sugar and spice, and everything nice. Try to contain your excitement, ladies.

For the record, that didn't take very long. The first news of Grande's fragrance came in mid-June via accidental Snapchat leak, but the official announcement of the perfume's drop was just posted on Thursday. I told you all it was only a matter of time before we had all the pieces to the perfume puzzle, though I definitely was not expecting a completed picture this soon. Ari by Ariana Grande will be released in September, so there are still an agonizing two months before the anticipated fragrance will be available.

Don't get me wrong. If I were releasing my own perfume line, I would probably have leaked all significant details within the first week. However, I was just starting to enjoy playing detective! I was way off on my prediction that her perfume would smell like baby kitten, but I'm thinking the next installment in the collection should be kitten-inspired with each purchase featuring a complimentary pair of the performer's signature cat ears. Or chocolate frosted doughnut flavored would be appropriate. If you're reading this Ari, call me. We'll talk.

If you're physically unable to contain your excitement right now — I hear you. Unfortunately, the countdown to owning the fragrance still goes on. In the meantime, check out a compilation of four Ari by Ariana Grande teasers below.

All the photos. Oops?

Retraction.

But obviously she wasn't that sorry.

You heard her, it smells like a dream. A marshmallow dream.
