5 Ways To Get Katie Holmes' Paint Splattered Look

by Jodie Layne

Her Met Gala bob may be gone, but Katie Holmes hasn't turned off the chic, and has continued to kill the style game ever since. Katie Holmes' dress on Jimmy Fallon, for instance, is a perfect balance of the classic, well-cut silhouettes that we're used to seeing the actress in, but with a fun twist: Neon Jackson Pollock-esque paint splatters.

Holmes joined the host for a chat on her Ray Donovan promotional circuit and, of course, to play a ridiculous game of the Internet sensation "Say Anything" that ended with her sporting a face full of tape. Her cream fit and flare dress with neon and black splashed-on accents definitely made a statement and was perfect for a sit down with the goofy host.

It's not the first time in recent history that Holmes has sported a fun, eye catching look: She was dressed to kill in a silver top and leather culottes for her appearance on Good Morning America earlier this week.

Between Katie Holmes' dramatic haircut (maybe), new style, and her giggly nature in Fallon's chair, it seems like the 36-year-old actress is definitely trying to show that she's made a new, lighter beginning for herself in 2015. I never thought that I'd be trying to emulate Joey Potter's style as a twentysomething, but it looks like that may just be the case.

Here are five pieces to sport now with a playful, paint-splattered motif:
