Zach Shallcross’ Bachelor season ended with an engagement, as did Charity Lawson’s Bachelorette season on Aug. 21. But if the main event on your Bachelor Nation calendar is the sunny, chaotic couple-ups of Bachelor in Paradise, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer for that tradition.

It’s never too early to start predicting who will go to Bachelor in Paradise Season 9, though, or to wonder whether last year’s Love Island-esque twist will be repeated. Separating the couples for a week led to the downfall of several promising pairs, a move that Serene Russell called “messed up” in a tweet.

As fans wait to see what happens this time around, here’s everything to know about Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 so far — including the confirmed cast and a steamy first look.

Bachelor In Paradise Season 9 Cast & Trailer

During Charity’s Men Tell All special on Aug. 14, Jesse Palmer shared a brief clip from Paradise in which Brayden Bowers and Kat Izzo shared a steamy makeout session. A week later, during After the Final Rose, a full Bachelor in Paradise trailer revealed even more familiar faces hitting the beach. The rest of the lineup includes Greer Blitzer, Aaron Bryant, Peter Cappio, Jessica “Jess” Girod, Eliza Isichei, Samantha “Sam” Jeffries, Olivia Lewis, Sean McLaughlin, Blake Moynes, Mercedes Northup, Rachel Recchia, Kylee Russell, Aaron Schwartzman, Will Urena, Brooklyn Willie, and Catherine “Cat” Wong.

Former leads Charity, Katie Thurston, and Hannah Brown also show up — seemingly as guests who will help read date cards, offer advice, or (in Katie and Blake’s case) get closure from a conversation between exes.

The trailer doesn’t give too much away, but you can certainly count on all the requisite highs and lows of Paradise — from a medical emergency caused by nine days of no pooping, to an apparent wedding on the beach. There are spoilers out there if you want a more specific idea of what’s to come, of course. In the meantime, Jesse told E! that “there are some couples that nobody saw coming, that no one will be able to connect in the beginning.” Intriguing...

Bachelor In Paradise Season 9 Premiere Date

Bachelor in Paradise 2023 debuts on Thursday, Sept. 28 at 9 p.m. ET — after The Golden Bachelor, which premieres an hour earlier. So if you plan to watch both titles, you’re in for busy Thursday nights this fall!

This post will be updated with the trailer and additional details as more information on Bachelor in Paradise Season 9 becomes available.
