Zendaya & Robert Pattinson Put Their Cosmic Compatibility To The Test
Astrologer Chani Nicholas compares The Drama stars' charts.

One on-screen collaboration is happenstance. Two is a coincidence. But three in one year might mean that Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s partnership was written in the stars. The duo is set to star in three of 2026’s biggest films together, including The Drama, in theaters April 3. In July, they’ll take on the summer box office in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, before finishing out the year with Dune: Part Three in December.
In The Drama, the pair play the happily-engaged Emma (Zendaya) and Charlie (Pattinson) — happy, at least, until Emma divulges a secret that sends their wedding plans, and relationship, spiraling. Following Emma’s reveal, the couple’s compatibility is put to the test. But what about Zendaya and Pattinson’s IRL dynamic? Astrologer Chani Nicholas looked to the stars for the answer and analyzed the actors’ charts.
Nicholas started off with the pairs’ sun signs. Zendaya (born Sept. 1, 1996) is a Virgo, and Pattinson (born May 13, 1986) is a Taurus. Both are earth signs, but the similarities end there. According to the astrologer, Zendaya’s chart positions her as a “super-nerd,” while Pattinson is “much more ruled by pleasure.”
“This is why we work!” Zendaya laughed. “Brains and beauty!”
Analyzing Zendaya’s Aquarius rising sign, Nicholas says, “It's a sign of the weirdo. There's going to be always a desire to play the one that is the outcast.”
Nicholas noted that this quality is highlighted by Saturn, the planet that steers the direction of your life. Zendaya’s Saturn manifests in a strong sense of discipline, Nicholas added, making the actress “a boundary queen” — which feels particularly apt, giving her coyness surrounding her rumored wedding to Tom Holland.
Meanwhile, Pattinson’s chart might have predicted his breakout role in Twilight.
“Yours has actually got a real streak of wildness,” Nicholas said. “And the planet that rules your sun is next to Lilith. Lilith is the — I don't know if you'd say vampiress or anything like that — but she's definitely something that everybody fears.”
“So,” Nicholas said, turning to Zendaya,” the planet that steers your life is about discipline and self-control—”
“And I'm being led by a female vampire,” Pattinson finished.
Their cosmic chemistry is particularly promising, with Nicholas predicting for the duo “a once-in-12-years moment of blessings and expansion and fortune.”
So, are they compatible? That would be a box office-breaking “yes.”
