Those who couldn't get enough of Shep Rose on Southern Charm have been in luck as RelationShep chronicles the bachelor's attempts to find love and settle down. The dating show is more relaxed than most, and therefore befitting of Shep's true nature. If you're trying to figure out what happened after the show finished filming, the social media clues Shep is single after RelationShep indicate that he may still be looking for love — though you can never know for sure, I suppose. After all, the whole point of a dating show is to keep the outcome secret.
According to the official synopsis for the show, Shep is looking for a "worldly, intellectual, outdoorsy, can-throw-a-beer-back, artistic, free-spirited, lingerie model-with-an astrophysicist-brain type of woman." Which is, oddly enough, a pretty good summary of Amy's "cool girl" monologue from Gone Girl. Bless his heart. Nobody would be too surprised if he didn't find someone who fit that description after one season of a show.
In a recent interview with Hollywood Life, Rose said that he did find someone at the end of the show — but couldn't confirm or deny that they were still together. RelationShep isn't as high stakes as The Bachelor, so Shep's social media isn't as secretive as some reality stars can be before their finales air. That said, unless we're in for a major shocker, it doesn't look like Shep suddenly has a girlfriend, or that anything has seriously changed in his life. The women in pictures with him don't tend to recur and/or are described as friends. He's spending a lot of time with family and bros.
Then again, in an interview with Decider, after agreeing that the show was "a success" for his mission in a way, Shep admitted that he's had to lie low on social media. "I’ll say this," he said, always a mysterious way to begin an anecdote, "I was with a girl from the show after filming and her friends, and they wanted to take pictures, and I was just like, 'I can’t do that, I’m really sorry.' It felt strange not joining in their fun, in their celebration via pictures. Although, I had a lot of fun while I was there."
Take from that what you will. Maybe all of these social media clues are meant to deceive.

For those who want to the show to pull the twist the trailer promised, where Shep ends up with Sarah, this could be a clue. What's going on with that wrist band? What's going on with that body language? Why are they dressed for a night out, but sitting on the couch watching television? Is that a couch?
Honestly, this could go any way. Maybe he's still with the girl he ends up with at the end of RelationShep and maybe not. You can tell whatever kind of tale you want to on social media, that's part of what makes it so fun and frustrating for us all. RelationShep and Southern Charm before it likes to portray Shep as an unlucky Lothario, and unfortunately we're going to have to wait until the show is over to find out how true that actually is.
