So, This Is How To Use Drybar's Whipped Dry Shampoo Foam

Dry shampoo, by nature and definition, is, well, dry. A hair styling foam is usually wet or wet-ish. Naturally, I was curious about how Drybar's new Detox Whipped Dry Shampoo Foam works, since it seems like a contradiction. Clearly, the brand and its founder, the amazing Alli Webb, who I met during the opening of the Garden State Plaza Drybar location in New Jersey and with whom I had the best chat about leather leggings, realized customers would have questions about this new product.

They've made a cute Instagram video about how Detox Whipped works. If you've ever used Drybar products, you know they smell like heaven in a bottle, with this musky, rich, and long-lasting fragrance that has me burying my nose in my follicles a ridiculous amount of times throughout the day.

So, yeah, how do you use Drybar's Detox Whipped Dry Shampoo Foam, which is ultra light, powderless, goes on dry, absorbs oil, and refreshes? Oh, it's so easy and it adds a boost of volume, body, and fullness, especially to flat hair.

Here's the process. Squeeze a drop into your hand, rub it between palms, and then rake it through your hair. You can use it post-blowout; it won't ruin a fresh blowdry. You can also use it post-workout, as that's likely when you need it most.

Thanks for the tutorial, Alli! If you have super oily hair, Webb recommends sticking with the original Detox Dry Shampoo, as it's more heavy duty than its Whipped sister.

It's all sorts of fluffy and foamy awesomeness. I am already getting intoxicated just thinking about how good Drybar products smell. It's seriously such a delish aroma that awakens the senses.

Detox Whipped is the lighter, fluffier version of the popular spray version of the Detox Dry Shampoo. In addition to smelling divine, Drybar products really do the trick to keep your hair in shape.
