The question of how long a presidency lasts has many answers. The technical answer is 1,461 days, three years of 365 days plus one leap year giving it one extra set of 24 hours. The other answer is: too long for many citizens, and too short for others. It really all depends on who is in office. Not all presidencies have actually last this long though. The shortest presidency in history was William Henry Harrison, who died of complications from pneumonia 31 days after he took office.

Well, our current president has surpassed that number, and Saturday marks day 100 of the Trump presidency. In my opinion, it feels like 1,461 days must have already passed. Mentally, it has been a very long time.

Trump took this milestone as an opportunity to reflect back on his presidency so far and, guess what, it's harder than he thought. In an interview with Reuters he stated, "I loved my previous life. I had so many things going. This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier." Surprisingly, leading the free world is a wee bit more difficult than yelling "You're fired!" at people on television. Honestly who would have thought it? He also complained about the fact that he can't drive anymore, something he apparently loves to do. Hey, if Trump wants to drive off into the sunset and leave Washington behind, I surely wouldn't stand in his way.
