The Emmy Awards are coming, which means one of two things are happening. Either you're getting your red carpet viewing party ready or you're still scrambling to figure out how to watch. If your predicament is the latter, there's no need to worry. This year, there are multiple ways to live-stream the Emmy Awards red carpet and the entire show, too.

I can still remember my first Emmy Awards. I was in front of the box television, huddled on the couch with my mom, hoping not to miss anything because DVR did not exist.

Luckily for you, this type of television viewing is a thing of the past. This year, there's a way to watch from your computer, phone, or tablet. Welcome to the future, my friends.

First up, let's talk about your traditional streaming options. Entertainment Weekly and PEOPLE are joining forces to bring you a two-hour, uninterrupted live-stream of the Emmys red carpet. You can head over to ew.com on Sept. 17 to get internet-based fashion and beauty viewing.

After the red carpet is done, you'll have to switch to a new website though. The Emmys will be live-streaming on the Television Academy's Facebook page. All you need is yourself, a computer, a good 'ole wifi to watch the show this year.

Don't have a computer? Well, you can still get the show on your phone or tablet. All you have to do is download the CBS All Access App, and you'll have the Emmys playing wherever you go.

Although it's a paid app, you can start a free trial, get your Emmys on, and then cancel it before you get charged the $6 per month fee. It really doesn't get much better than that.

That means that you can sneak off during work to watch or even just take it with you when you have to use the bathroom. That's a big upgrade from my first Emmys experience.

Spectrum also offers a similar app experience. If you have services with the brand, all you have to do is download the Spectrum TV App, enter your username of password, and you can gain access to the Emmys. It's free for anyone with service from Spectrum, so start asking your friends for their log-in info now.

If all of that is too much for you to take it, there's also a third and final way to watch — through live tweets. I know, I know. It's not exactly the same as seeing all the magical red carpet moments for yourself, but people will definitely be talking.

To follow along ~*officially*~ all you have to do is follow the hashtags #Emmys or #Emmys2017. You'll know it's the right one because there's an adorable little Stephen Colbert emoji — a nod to the night's host — holding an award.

If you're looking to get in on the sub-tweets, which is always a way more fun option, you can just search the word "Emmys" in the search bar.

Either way, your timeline is guaranteed to be filled with news, memes and style opinions from the night. So make sure you are following all your favorite news outlets, because those still exist — just like tradition television.

With more ways than ever to watch the Emmys, you pretty much have to try to miss them. Because odds are if you're reading this right now, you have a way to watch the red carpet and the awards show.

Let's all thank the technology gods for streaming. Thanks to tech-based viewing, we can all stay up-to-date on the lastest fashions even without paying a cable bill.
