Jon Hamm is no longer suiting up in his '60s garb for some good old-fashioned objectification of women on Mad Men, but he's still a huge star. The man formerly known as Don Draper (formerly know as Dick Whitman) will be presenting at the Golden Globes on Sunday, which begs the question if he will be attending alone. He's always in demand, but is Jon Hamm single?

If he's not, he's very good at hiding it. Since he split up with his ex-partner Jennifer Westfeldt in September 2015, Hamm hasn't been publicly dating anyone. His break with Westfeldt was a genuine "love is dead" moment; the pair had been together for 18 years, which, in Hollywood, is an eternity. Their relationship could have voted at the polls.

To twist the knife in the wound for fans, the statement they released to People was itself heartbreaking:

With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history. We will continue to be supportive of each other in every way possible moving forward.

Well, OK, just be mature about it.

The rumors surrounding their breakup suggested that Hamm and Westfeldt had parted because he had done a stint in rehab, but they ensured that that couldn't be farther from the truth, with Hamm saying that Westfeldt had been a huge support system through his recovery. He even thanked her in his Emmys speech in September 2015, not long after they split.

After their breakup, Hamm was rumored to be dating January Jones, his former on-screen wife. But that didn't seem to hold much water beyond being a tabloid rumor. Not to mention it would be very jarring to see Don and Betty Draper together in 2016. Time travel!

There were also various reports after their break that Hamm and Westfeldt had gotten back together, first in November 2015 when they appeared together at a memorial for the late director Mike Nichols and then again last year in August. I wouldn't be mad at it, and I don't think fans would either, considering the collective shock and heartbreak when the couple first split.

It seems like Hamm is on his own for now, but who knows? In an interview with Page Six in October, he left it up in the air, refusing to go into specifics about Westfeldt. When asked about his relationship status, he had this to say: "It’s very personal and specific and think people tend to draw their own conclusions about that anyway." I will plead guilty to that.

Whenever you're ready to get back in there, Hamm, I'm sure you could date any woman you want ― plenty of them are just wandering out their on the street.

We'll see who he brings to the Globes on Sunday, Jan. 8, if anyone.
