2018 is shaping up to be a pretty major year for two former co-stars. Not only do they reportedly have a wedding in the works for next spring, but, according to a source at Us Weekly, Kirsten Dunst is pregnant, and she and her fiancé, Jesse Plemons, are expecting their first baby now, too. Dunst, 35, and Plemons, 29, starting dating in 2016, while playing husband and wife on Season 2 of FX's Fargo. News of their engagement broke in January 2017, though neither star had spoken about their relationship in public before then. Bustle has reached out to a rep for Dunst and an agent for Plemons for comment on the pregnancy report, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.

UPDATE: On Jan. 30, Dunst's pregnancy was confirmed when photos of a shoot she did for Rodarte were released.

EARLIER: If the reports are true and Dunst is pregnant, though, it wouldn’t be all that shocking — she’s been pretty candid about being ready for babies in recent years. In fact, it seems as if Dunst may have started to get the itch as far back as 2014, when the then-32-year-old actor (who was in a relationship with her On the Road co-star Garrett Hedlund at the time) spoke to the UK’s Red magazine (via People) about being in “baby mode.” She explained,

"I'm in baby mode because two of my really good friends are pregnant right now. One of them is pretty chilled and the other's like, 'I can't wait to have a glass of wine!' I love it though. We've already picked her girl's name, it's done! I think 33 is a good age to have your first baby."

Flash-forward to June 2017, a little over a year after Dunst and Plemons were first photographed getting cozy, and Dunst told Marie Claire UK that, after having a career that started when she was three, “it’s time to have babies and chill.” She said,

“I wasn’t one of those ‘I need a baby!’ people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much. That love is just like… you can’t experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, ‘Where’s Kiki?’ I just love that love. That’s what I want.”

One thing's for sure: There will be no shortage of love for Dunst at her upcoming wedding to Plemons, which is reportedly being held in Austin, Texas. Dunst counts Rodarte designers, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, as close friends, and has already asked the sisters to design her wedding dress (which seems like a no-brainer, considering the countless events where Dunst has stunned in Rodarte over the years).

“It’s exciting, I think we’ve actually only done a handful of wedding dresses in our career, and we’ve only done them for people that we’re really close with because it’s an emotional thing you know when you wear it to get married, ” designer Kate Mulleavy told People. “It’s just a magical thing to create that’s kind of going to be exciting.”

Hopefully, the Mulleavy sisters haven’t gotten too far with the wedding dress design, though, as they may have to make at least a few tweaks if Dunst is actually pregnant and plans on marrying Plemons in a few short months. No matter how and when they end up getting hitched, Dunst and Plemons are clearly meant to be, according to close friends. While speaking about the couple to Us Weekly, Zach Gilford, Plemons' former Friday Night Lights co-star, said, "[They're] one of those couples that you feel like they are the best versions of themselves when they are around each other.”
