Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 was tragic, in that it turned what's usually such a fun summer trifle into a bummer of a season that might make you second-guess whether finding love on a reality TV franchise ever works. And there's some more unfortunate, post-season news: Amanda Stanton and Robby Hayes broke up after Bachelor In Paradise, and the two are already speaking up about what happened between them in the wake of their appearance on the season.

E! News was able to confirm that the couple split up with a comment from Amanda at the Bachelor In Paradise reunion. The news of their breakup came as a bit of a surprise, because earlier in the summer, there were reportedly photos of Robby and Amanda together after filming of the season wrapped, suggesting that the two were still in a relationship.

Amanda told E! in the same interview that there's "no hard feelings" between the couple, even now that they're broken up. "I'm totally open to being friends with him," Amanda said. "It's a little frustrating as a girl, and I think a lot of girls can relate to putting all your effort into somebody and maybe them not doing the same and kind of feeling like you wasted your time." The tail end of that statement suggests that perhaps that while Amanda is open to being friends with Robby, there was something at the heart of their romantic relationship that bothered her.

In the finale preview, the twins Emily and Haley Ferguson accuse Robby of cheating on Amanda, and while that accusation has not been confirmed by Robby, Amanda did tell People Magazine, "I think we just have different ideas of what a relationship is like. Like, certain things that just come naturally in a relationship, like checking in with that person, answering when I call. There were photos of him with another girl. It became too much for me."

Amanda elaborated on exactly how those infidelity accusations played out in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. "He was supposed to come home ... [but] I didn't hear from him for a whole day. ... And later that day, a girl said he was at a Zac Brown Band concert and sent me photos of him looking like they were making out all over each other," Amanda said. "He says that they were not. I wasn't there. So, I don't know. I can't tell you."

Amanda also told People that Robby's attitude went through a major change once the show stopped filming, and she wasn't a fan of the non-BiP side of his personality. "Robby was somebody who was doing all these sweet things for me and saying that he wants a family and a future," Amanda said. "And then we get off the show and all he wanted to do is party and not call me." After intially staying quiet about her breakup with Josh Murray (the two got engaged on Bachelor in Paradise Season 3), Amanda eventually went on to explain the reasons behind her decision to end that relationship. But this time, she hasn't waited nearly as long to open up.

As for what Robby has to say about the breakup, the accusations of infidelity, and Amanda's public response, he's been quiet, at least declining to comment publicly through any interviews or on social media. According to the aforementioned Entertainment Tonight piece, he told the outlet that, while he "has no comment" right now, "[There's] a lot I'd like to say."

And there's one more disappointing result of this breakup: Amanda won't get her fairytale ending on a Bachelor show, because she told E! that she's not interested in returning for another season. "Never say never, but ... I do think that I'm staying out of dating from the franchise from now on," Amanda said. "I've done the show three times. I definitely had my fair chance of trying to find love within the franchise, and it hasn't worked out for me yet."

After three unsuccessful attempts at finding lasting love, it's understandable that Amanda is ready to both move on from her relationship with Robby Hayes and from the Bachelor franchise in general.
