The New ‘Everything, Everything’ Trailer Features Two Summer Bangers

by Ashley Rey
Warner Bros. Pictures

Warner Bros. just released a new trailer for Everything, Everything, and it's... well... everything. In addition to Amandla Stenberg and Anika Noni Rose's gorgeous faces making me melt, the preview is displaying some major ear candy. Just as I was getting over Beyoncé's glorious musical surprise in the first movie trailer, here comes the newest Everything, Everything trailer with some cool, summery tracks as well. Life just doesn't get much sweeter than this.

Teen sensations Skylar Stecker and Alessia Cara are bringing the musical heat. Stecker's song "How Did We" melds perfectly with the film's youthful theme. And Zedd's pop release "Stay," featuring the soulful voice of Alessia Cara, is the stuff of teenage dreams. After blessing your ears with both of these tunes, you won't be able to imagine Everything, Everything without them.

I know I'm not the only one who ended up shedding a tear after watching the movie sneak peeks. Stenberg's role as an ill and sheltered teen with a lust for life and desire to explore is enough to overwhelm anyone with the desire to live their own lives to the fullest. Having a soundtrack to convey that same sense of wonder off screen was the right move to make.

While you wait for Nicole Yoon's 2015 YA masterpiece's adaptation to hit theaters May 19, get familiar with these two summer anthems below.

"How Did We" by Skylar Stecker

She may be just 15 years old, but Skylar Stecker's flawless voice carries so much maturity and wisdom. "How Did We," however, is the perfect feel-good track for every young adult dreamer. It's empowering and super catchy, and I dare you to try not to sing along.

"Stay" by Zedd and Alessia Cara

You may know of Zedd from his very popular 2015 hit "I Want You To Know," featuring Selena Gomez. This time around, the record producer collaborated on a pop track with the one and only Alessia Cara, and it's the cutest thing ever. It's definitely the type of track you'll want to bump while driving down the coast, with the windows low, on the way to the beach.

I'm almost certain both picks will be in heavy rotation on the radio all summer long.
