This just happened. Host with the most, Vanessa Hudgens, opened the 2017 Billboard Music Awards with some amazing impersonations of Nicki Minaj and Céline Dion. If there's one thing fans learned from the opening of the Las Vegas award show (besides the fact that this girl can bring it as a host), it's that Hudgens has come a long way since her Disney days. The High School Musical alum was put through co-host Ludacris' "initiation process" and passed with flying colors.

First, she told the audience — including the 192 countries watching the show live on Sunday night — that she's always admired rap queen, Nicki Minaj. "Nicki is my rap alter ego. I rap like her in my fantasies," the 28-year-old confessed. But Luda wanted to see if she took her admiration seriously, since they "finally gave [him] a rapping co-host," after all.

As a test, the rapper had Hudgens take on one of Nicki's songs on the spot. Without hesitation, Hudgens rapped a verse from "Monster," and totally worked the stage without missing a beat. She immediately got applause from the audience, including Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. And this was before she even took on Céline.

Getting ready for Céline Dion's performance later that night, Hudgens admitted she was a complete fangirl. "I am totally freaking out, she is like the Meryl Streep of music," she said, later reminiscing to singing "The Power of Love" when she was seven. Once again, Ludacris wanted to see Hudgens back it up with her pipes. And that she did. Belting out that very ballad, the host got cheers from audience members like Noah Cyrus and Bachelorette's Rachel Lindsay.

Hudgens can host, sing, dance, act, and rap her butt off — and she won't hesitate to prove it.
