Kat Von D Is Collaborating With A Famous Drag Queen & The Product Is Simply Divine

by Kali Borovic

If you thought Kat Von D Beauty was slowing down anytime soon, think again. After teasing fans for months about a possible collab, news from the brand is finally out. Kat Von D created a limited edition Divine Palette, according to their Instagram posts, and it's coming soon. Get your wallets ready because you'll want to buy two — one to use and one to sit on display. Trust me.

When word got out about a possible Kat Von D Beauty and Divine collab, fans went bonkers. The brand certainly didn't crack under the pressure, and it's delivering an incredible eyeshadow palette very soon. Harris Glenn Milstead, better known as the drag persona Divine, might not be around today, but something tells me that the drag diva would fully approve of being Kat Von D's muse for this new palette.

From the names of the shadows to the packaging, this palette does the '70s drag queen justice. The shades are a collection of matte and shimmers ranging from bright blues and greens to glittery silvers. If that's not inspiration enough for you, there's the queen's iconic brows and signature on the mirror.

There's no need to hold back your excitement because this palette will be here before you know it. According to Kat Von D Beauty's Instagram post, the Divine Palette will be available in February 2018. While you might not see it under the tree this year, you can save up all of your holiday money for the purchase.

According to the announcement photo, it looks like there's a neutral, light pink lipstick to go along with it. The lippie has the classic KVD studded tube, but in a brand new color — green. The caption does say that it's a full Kat Von D x Divine Collection, but it seems like these are the only two pieces included.

On top of the gorgeous products, the front of the eyeshadow palette follows the same Divine theme. It features the drag queen's classic eye look with pencil thin brows and oversized lashes.

It's clear to see from all the details that Kat Von D is a major fan of the iconic drag superstar. From the perfectly chosen colors to the image on the front, this collection is the perfect nod to Divine.

Kat Von D Beauty even announced the the palette on the perfect day — what would have been Divine's 72nd birthday. Von D and three others dressed up the queen's iconic hair, makeup, and glitzy outfits for a photo shoot celebrating their muse. The Divine fans even had a birthday cake in honor of Divine to match the colors in the palette.

Kat Von D first teased the palette back in June without much detail. But now fans are already freaking over the first look. The exact launch day might not be announced just yet, but people are already counting down the days until February 2018.

People are already trying to save for one — or more — of everything.

This is not a drill: If this palette doesn't come out soon, the people will be pissed.

The collabs are definitely on point lately!

Those emoji say it all, my friends.

Unfortunately, now is too soon. But February isn't that much longer to wait!

Wallets all around the world can already feel this makeup collection coming. But no doubt it will be totally worth it.

Can you hear the shrill screams of countless fans? I can.

Bottom line: This limited edition palette will fly off the shelves as soon as it hits the beauty game. It's just that divine.
