Kelsey Mulvey

Kelsey Mulvey is a freelance lifestyle and interior design journalist based in San Francisco, who has over a decade of experience in print and digital media. Currently, she writes home décor and e-commerce stories for Bustle.

Kelsey has always had a passion for creating content. She attended Boston University, where she received her B.A. in Magazine Journalism. In college, Kelsey wrote stories for Time Out New York and Lucky.com, and had several articles syndicated by national publications like USA Today and HuffPost. Before going full-time freelance in 2017, Kelsey covered design and lifestyle content for the Wall Street Journal and Business Insider. Since then, Kelsey’s work has been featured in dozens of publications such as Domino, Apartment Therapy, Architectural Digest, and many more. In addition to her freelance work, Kelsey also runs “Office Hours with Kelsey Mulvey,” a newsletter all about being your own boss. She has also appeared on several podcasts to share her thoughts on interior design, entrepreneurship, and candles. (Really.)

In the rare event she’s not on deadline, you can typically find Kelsey listening to true crime podcasts, obsessively following the latest pop culture news, sweating it out to a themed spin class, or devouring nachos. (It’s all about balance, right?)
