Nasra Ayub

Nasra Ayub is a freelance writer, international campaigner, and award-winning human rights activist, based in Bristol and London. She mostly covers politics, social and cultural issues, race and religion, and she is currently the Programs Associate at Global Funds for Children.

Nasra has previously written for gal-dem, Stylist, DAZED, Metro and more. She also has a Politics and Philosophy degree from the University of Bristol.

Nasra is a recipient of the Diana Award Winner 2020, for her work in tackling violence against women and girls. She has been featured on The Guardian, ITV, BBC Three and BBC 1 speaking on race and other social justice issues.

When she’s not writing or ranting about injustices, she can be found obsessing over British crime dramas thinking she can do a better job than the detectives.
