Stephanie Strohm

Stephanie Strohm is a freelancer who has written for Bustle. She is also the author of many contemporary romances for young adults, several graphic novels for young adults, a couple of bedtime stories for children for the Calm app, and one parody burlesque show that was very much for actual adults.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from Middlebury College with a joint major in theatre and history. While attending Middlebury, she was also voted Winter Carnival Queen. Since then, she has had novels published by Disney Publishing, Hyperion Books, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Scholastic. Her books have been named Junior Library Guild selections, received several starred reviews, and been featured on “Best Of” lists by BNTeens, School Library Journal, Romantic Times, Buzzfeed, Bustle, the New York Public Library, EpicReads, BookRiot, and many more. She is proud that her work has been accurately described as “playful fluff” (Booklist) and “a total escape” (Kirkus).

Raised in New England and currently based in Los Angeles, she is still trying to adjust to the heat. When she’s not writing, she’s usually looking for pie. Although she will always be a theater kid at heart, these days her musical theater stylings are reserved for belting out show tunes while stuck in traffic on the 101.
