12 Editor-Approved Pieces You're About To See All Over The Internet This Spring

Sartorially, the start of spring isn’t always easy. Drastic shifts from summer-like days to weeks of rain leave us guessing when the weather will stay warm for good. If you’re up for the challenge, spring’s unpredictability does make it an exciting time to dress — variety is the spice of life, etc. — especially coming out of the monotony of winter. It’s the season we reintroduce dresses and sandals back into our wardrobes, start reaching for SPFs and illuminating body oils, and find ourselves browsing for just *one* more pair of sunglasses. Just writing this has me feeling giddy for sunny spring days.

To kick things off, I’ve rounded up 12 of my favorite products on Nordstrom.com for spring travel, weekend getaways, lunch dates, and more. From a classic red cardigan from Reformation to the blow dryer that changed my hair routine, these are the pieces I’m planning on reaching for all season long — and I think you will, too.

The Notte Charm Logo Crocodile Jacquard Midi Dress

Jacquemus puts its signature twist on the midi dress with a thigh-high slit, curved seamed detail across the chest, delicate spaghetti straps, and logo hardware on the back. I’d pair this dress with a low-heeled sandal for a summer wedding and black flip flops for a beachy spring vacation.

Speaking of flip flops... A slim black silhouette like these Havianas is a powerhouse piece in my wardrobe. Come spring, I’m wearing these with everything from vintage cotton mini-dresses to linen pants.

Outta Love 51mm Oval Sunglasses

Not vintage, but they sure do look like it. These tortoise frames from Le Specs are an effortless way to add a cool touch to an otherwise simple look — a white tee, vintage jeans, loafers... easy does it!

Hana Mini Faux Suede Tote

I can’t stop browsing the internet for suede bags and this $99 option (?!) is one of my favorites. I love its curved silhouette and vintage-inspired buckle.

Stripe Drape Strapless Minidress

Although simple, the strapless neckline on this mini dress is so effortlessly chic, and its gathered details remind me of Jacquemus (just without the price tag). This would look gorgeous styled with heels for dinner or dressed down with a matching pair of cream wide-leg trousers and black sandals for daytime.

Shimmer Oil SPF 30 Sunscreen

The first warm days of spring are always the rudest reminder of how pale we’ve gotten over winter, but this shimmer oil sunscreen from Vacation makes day one back in the sun feel a little less pasty. Not only does it provide SPF 30 protection, but it’s formulated with mica flecks to give you a subtle glow no matter your skin tone.

Another one of my most-worn pieces is a vintage red cardigan that looks exactly like this piece from Reformation. It’s a perfect, multi-purpose layer that’s great during the transitional months of spring.

This high-waisted, wide-leg silhouette is a great alternative to the ultra-short denim short and comes in a vintage-inspired mid-blue wash.

A low-heeled sandal is such a versatile shoe that can be worn casually with jeans or paired with a more formal midi dress or trouser. If you’re confined to a carry-on, Steve Madden’s Cary Heeled Sandal in black is a no-brainer.

Aire 360 Ceramic Air Styler Blowout Kit

In all seriousness, this blowdrier changed my life. It’s truly never been easier to get a salon-quality blowout at home with little (to, in my case, no) knowledge of hairstyling. This kit from T3 is compact enough for travel and a few hundred dollars less than alternatives.
