Regencycore strikes yet again. The aesthetic of corsets, pearl jewelry, hyper-femininity, and dainty accessories were on theme for the masquerade soirée attended by Bella Hadid to celebrate Luiz Mattos, Vice President of IMG.
On Monday’s birthday masquerade, the model dressed in full Bridgerton-era costume (a favorite of hers), donning a steampunk-style white leather corset and matching pencil skirt. The structured boning of the corset was offset by a smattering of gray paint splatters that gave a the ensemble an artsy-cool vibe.
Rather than going strapless, Hadid went for a peek-a-boo moment, showing off a black, lace bra for a stylish Bridgerton Boob moment. From there, Hadid accessorized with a lace eye mask, a matching arm cuff, and a patent leather Chanel wristlet with a corsage-style flower.
The finishing touches (read: pearl drop earrings and black fishnet tights) gave two very different aesthetics, but worked together effortlessly. These details, plus Hadid’s smoky-eye, blunt-cut bangs, and high pony made for an edgier take on typical regency fashion.
The model loves a corseted look, having worn a similar outfit to the 2022 Met Gala. Hadid’s gothic look featured a leather corset, lace leggings, and a chiffon skirt, also accessorized with pearl drop earrings and anklet.
TLDR; Ya girl nails this aesthetic every single time.
