Why Makeup Lovers Need Sigma's New Brush Set

Whether you're contouring or strobing, I think we can all agree that having the perfect kind of brushes is essential to your looks. IMO, the best brushes can seriously make a huge difference in your overall routine. Not only can your tools take your makeup game to the next level, but it can also be the difference between good and bad skin. For these reasons, makeup lovers absolutely need Sigma's Baking & Strobing Brush set. Not only does the kit come with five different brushes, each tool is made with fibers that are "designed to avoid product absorption and growth of bacteria. What's more, they "can be used to apply cream, liquid, or powder products" according to the Sigma website. Look no further, guys — your new favorite brushes have arrived.

If you're not familiar with Sigma Beauty, it was founded in 2009 by owners Rene Xavier Filho and Simone Xavier. They've got quite an unusual background for makeup entrepreneurs. Sigma Beauty's website sums it up best, saying, "Combine a scientist with a PhD in Infectious Diseases and Molecular Biology, along with a Civil Engineer with a Master’s in Business Administration and you get Sigma Beauty." So cool, right?

On their new brush set release, Xavier explained, "Sigma Beauty has interpreted the 'Baking and Strobing' trend with functionality in mind. We have engineered the perfect tools to master these trendy techniques effortlessly. All brushes were exclusively designed, utilizing patented Sigmax® and SigmaTech® synthetic fibers. The result is as flawless as the skin-finish they’ll create. We can't wait for our clients to put them to the test!” Sold.

The brush set officially comes out August 22, but you can sign up for a waitlist on their website that will let you purchase the products before their launch. You can either buy the set for $84 or buy each brush separately.
