Taylor Frankie Paul’s Bachelorette spoilers and post-filming controversies suggest that the 2026 season may, in fact, be the most dramatic yet.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star was always going to deliver an unpredictable journey, as she’s the first lead who begins the show with an established reality career. But the weeks leading up to her season’s March 22 premiere have seen several surprising developments, including the reveal that Taylor and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, spent the night together shortly before The Bachelorette — and, later, the report that the former couple is in the middle of a current domestic assault investigation.

Finally, on March 16, Reality Steve shared his spoilers for Taylor’s season with the Instagram caption: “Good. Lord.” Indeed, there are some shocking reports surrounding her journey, final rose, and what went down after filming. Here’s everything to know.

Wrong Reasons Drama

One of the first big hints about Taylor’s season came from the lead herself. In a November sit-down with host Jesse Palmer, she said that her suitors are “such gentlemen” — except, it seems, for one she had to send home outside of a rose ceremony. “He made it easy because, you know, he was trying to fire back at me,” Taylor recalled. “And I’m just like, ‘Haha, absolutely not.’ Like, I’m not here to waste your time. Please don’t waste mine. And if you’re here for the wrong reasons, you’re leaving.”

The mom of three also teased that several of her Mormon Wives castmates showed up to share game-changing intel, which seems to have shaken some of the contestants. As Jesse said, “I think some of these guys are still licking their wounds, actually, from that group date. Because they got lashed.”

Taylor agreed, “They did. It was so interesting — and honestly, it was fun to see them shake a little.”

Who Gets A Hometown?

The beginning of any Bachelorette season can be a blur of new names and faces, but you may want to keep an eye on Shane Parton, Lew Evans, Doug Mason, and Casey Hux. These are reportedly the suitors who bring Taylor to their hometowns.

Fantasy Suites Switch-Up

According to Reality Steve, Taylor’s fantasy suites filmed in Utah: a departure from the franchise tradition of hosting overnight dates in international locales.

On Dec. 10, Taylor posted a photo of an unknown man holding her with snow-capped mountains in the background.

According to Reality Steve, Shane, Lew, and Doug got overnights, and Lew was eliminated. While the finale usually takes place in the same location as fantasy suites, Reality Steve reports that Taylor and her final two traveled to St. Lucia for a romantic conclusion.

Taylor’s Final Rose... & A Thorn

Taylor and Doug reportedly got engaged in St. Lucia, but spoilers say that their love story didn’t end in a happily ever after. Reality Steve claims that about a month after getting engaged, Doug flew to Utah, and Taylor ended their engagement.

But despite this reported split, The U.S. Sun reports that Taylor and Doug were spotted together in Sherman Oaks, California, on March 14 — and pictures appear to show Doug wearing the same outfit as the mystery man in Taylor’s recent TikTok about being “kinda busy” with someone. Clearly, there’s a lot to keep track of this season.
