As we all know, the Grammys have a sort of "anything goes" mentality, and it's precisely what makes the whole thing so amazing. It's a show where artists can be artists, and that makes for some unforgettable fashion moments. If you caught a glimpse of Tyler, the Creator's fuzzy hat at the Grammys, then you know exactly what I mean.

The rapper, who was nominated for "Best Rap Album" for Flower Boy, walked the red carpet in a light blue coat, a white Louis Vuitton scarf, and a giant fuzzy white hat. The Grammys, which recently made a return to New York City after a long hiatus, were taking place during 40-something degree weather. But I think it was still pretty clear Tyler, the Creator wasn't bundling up for warmth.

Instead, the rapper was just being his usual quirky, stylish self. If you know anything about Tyler, the Creator's look on stage, it's pretty clear the giant fuzzy white hat wasn't too far removed from looks he's rocked in the past.

When the rapper walked the red carpet at the Grammys on Sunday night, it was clear he was staying on-brand, and very much true to himself, style-wise. The man has a fashion sense all his own, and I totally appreciate that.

But what really stood out was what was under the hat.

By briefly pulling off his hat, the rapper revealed some serious Dennis Rodman-esque leopard print hair, in a look that only Tyler, the Creator (and OK, obviously the retired professional basketball player) could possibly pull off.

The spots were pretty realistic, so props to whoever dyed his hair that way. (Maybe it was Tyler himself?)

His other stand-out accessory was, of course, those chucks. According to Vogue, "The rapper wore cropped black trousers and classic cream Converse ChuckTaylor All-Stars ... He wore his Chucks untied with a scrawled-on message that read 'double my luggage' and a tiny flower illustration, a clear nod to his award-nominated album."

Despite his amazing look, and his nomination-worthy album, the rapper didn't end up taking home the Grammy for "Best Rap Album." That honor went to Kendrick Lamar, for his album DAMN.

And yet, it was still a great night for the rapper, who wowed us all with his look. With the jacket, and the scarf, and the hat, and the hair, it was clear Tyler, the Creator had some serious style going on on the Grammys red carpet.
